"This
is truly a team representative of Richmond Tennis," said team member Kerri
Rhodes. "We all play out of different clubs and met and became friends
through tennis."
The
team chose six members to play for the title in Atlanta. They returned
with an outstanding record, dropping only one women's singles match and one
men's doubles match during the entire tournament. The format features
co-ed teams competing in six sets - men's and women's doubles, men's and women's
singles and mixed doubles, with no-ad scoring, substitution and coaching.
