Richmond USTA Super Senior (age 60 and over) teams had phenomenal success at the Mid-Atlantic Sectionals held in Newport News the weekend of September 15-17, 2006.      

Four Richmond-area teams claimed the sectionals championships and will be playing in the super senior invitational nationals in April in Charleston, SC (3.5 teams) and Daytona Beach, FL (3.0 and 4.0 teams).    

"It has so far been a great experience," said Woodlake member Dave Scott.  "Everybody is looking forward to nationals -- it is a first time opportunity for most of us!"
