Important JTT Rules and Regulations…
* All participants must have an active USTA membership and be registered on TennisLink PRIOR to playing their first match
* A player must remain age eligible through August 31, 2016
* All team match scores must be entered into TennisLink within 24 Hours of the completion of the match
* Players may play on more than one team during the same season, but can only play on one at JTT Championships
* Players must participate in two matches on two different days during the same season to qualify for JTT Championships
* The winning team for each flight is determine by the total games won
* Coaching is ONLY allowed during changeovers – in no event is coaching permitted during a tiebreaker
* Any player with 750 or more MAS ranking points within any age group as of 8/31/15 must participate in the Advanced flight

Coach/Captain/Team Manager Duties…
* Recruit team members
* Coordinate travel to matches
* Schedule practices (optional)
* Attend preseason meeting (TBD by League Coordinators)
* Coaches/captains MUST have a background check

* Distribute league information to team members and parents
* Submit lineup to opponent’s captain before each match
* Collect, record, and report scores in TennisLink 24 hours after match

TennisLink Help…
Registering as a Coach/Manager:
1. Go to http://tennislink.usta.com/TEAMTENNIS/Main/Home.aspx
2. Click on “Become a Coach/Manager” located on the bottom right side of your computer screen under “Options”
3. Fill in the necessary information and select a password
4. Click “SUBMIT” (NOTE: Write down your number and password, you will need this every time you use TennisLink)
5. Let your League Coordinator know your number (she will need to add you to your team(s) in TennisLink)
6. Submit a background check (FREE): https://selfscreen.lexisnexis.com/VolunteerSelfScreening/usta

Registering a Player or Team:
1. You will need to know your Team Number and the players USTA membership numbers
2. Go to http://tennislink.usta.com/TEAMTENNIS/Main/Home.aspx
3. Click “Register to Play”
4. Enter your Team Number, click “ENTER”
5. Enter your players’ USTA membership numbers
6. If you are registering more than one player, continue with step 4 for every player
7. Click “Proceed to Checkout”
8. This will bring you to the payment page (you will have to use a credit card to pay for the registration fee(s))
9. Click “SUBMIT”, if you need a receipt, print out the next page that comes up

Entering Scores After a Match:
1. Go to http://tennislink.usta.com/TEAMTENNIS/Main/Home.aspx
2. Click “Login” above the USTA Jr. Team Tennis logo
3. Enter your USTA membership number or your Captain ID
4. Enter your Password and click “Login”
5. Under “My Options” (right side, in red), click “Score Entry”
6. Enter the Match ID and click “Next”
7. Enter the date the match was played
8. Enter match results
***Choose the players for each match from the drop down boxes
***IMPORTANT: List the winning score first (i.e. 4-1, 2-4, 1-0 D NOT 1-4, 4-2, 0-1)
***Choose the winner of each match from the drop down box under “Winner:”
9. Click “Next”
10. Review the information and if it is correct, click Finish”

Searching for a Player’s MAS Ranking Points:
1. Go to http://tennislink.usta.com/TOURNAMENTS/Common/Default.aspx
2. Enter player’s USTA membership number under “Find a Ranking”, click “SEARCH”
3. If nothing comes up, then that player has no tournament points
4. If a list of rankings comes up, find the “Calculation Date” for 8/31/15 (or the closest date)
5. Click on the “List Name” and find how many “Points” that player has as of that date
6. If the player has 750 or more MAS points as of 8/31/15, then he or she will need to play Advanced
*Contact your local League Coordinator if you have any questions on tournament points for eligibility.
