RICHMOND JR. TEAM TENNIS

What is Jr. Team Tennis?
USTA Jr. Team Tennis (JTT) brings kids together in teams to play singles, doubles and mixed doubles against other teams. It promotes social skills and important values by fostering a spirit of cooperation and unity, as well as individual self-growth. Also, it’s a fun environment for kids in which they learn that succeeding is really more about how they play the game – win or lose.

Anyone 18 and Under can play JTT!
USTA JTT is designed for kids ages 5-18. You can either sign up as an individual and have assistance by the League Coordinator to be placed on a team, or you can sign up as a team. Players must have active Junior or Family USTA memberships to participate.

Who do I Contact for More Information and to Sign Up?
Richmond JTT is split up between the 12 and Up, and 10 and Under, age groups. Kelley Glen – partnering with the Richmond Tennis Association – oversees the 12 and Up age groups (18U, 14U, and 12U). Lila Lacroix, with assistance from NetPlay, runs the 10 and Under age groups (10U and 8U). For more information about signing up, click here.
