And Tennis Warehouse,
what can't you find there? (Probably not that stunning tennis
clock, for one thing.)
But really, isn't it
fun to brave the winter elements for the one you love? People appreciate a sacrifice, truly.
It's good to support
our local merchants, too. So, here is a list of ideas for your
shopping pleasure. Check back over the next week as new ideas are
added. If you have something to include (please help the young men who
have NO idea what to buy their tennis playing sweetheart) -- email
it. If you gave something to somebody last year and it wasn't
exactly a big hit, do your part and let people know. If your gift was an 'ace'
then share it. We are a community here and need to look out for each
other.

The
club has a shopping mall on its website with over 16,000 racquets, clothes
and gifts, says Betsy Luxhoj, manager of TDC's tennis shop. "You can shop on line and have the items sent to your
house," according to Betsy. (Well, so much for braving the
elements....)

Burkwood tennis building plans to close the shop in
March. "Sales are going on now," she
