Clover Hill coach Jim Alberston (left) and Cosby coach Joe Westerman - "the old and the new" quipped Alberston.  Westerman is a full time pastor.  Jim Alberston was voted 2007 Dominion District Coach of the Year.  

Both Monacan doubles teams advanced on the first day of play, led by Ron Tuzzo. Tuzzo, a former wrestling coach at the school, was pulled in to coach the tennis team on the first day of tryouts.

Coach Rickey encourages Tyler Colbert during his match with #4 seed Zach Cerny.  Cerny was up 9-6, but Colbert staged a comeback to win 11-9.

Coach Jim Alberston talks to his #1 doubles team as Clover Hill finds itself down 2-5 to Midlothian's Kellner-James.  Clover Hill won the 10 game pro set and advanced to the semifinals.

Sjogren and Bullano could've used a bench during their semifinal match.  Sjogren advanced to the finals with a 6-4, 6-3 win.
