About the Davenport Tournament
Davenport & Company presents 2008 City of Richmond Tennis Championships (Open & Family Divisions) at Byrd Park May
10th - May 18th.
The
Open level tournament historically attracts top college players, pros and coaches
living in the Greater Richmond metropolitan area to play in men's and
women's singles, doubles and mixed. The
2008 City Men's Singles Champion will be presented with the Einwick
Cup, a beautiful silver traveling trophy to display until the 2009
winner is
crowned.
Dates to remember:
Tournament kicks off with the 1st annual Battle of the Pros May 10
Family Division play follows through May 18
Junior Division championship takes place May 24 - 31
Senior Division play takes place June 28 - July 3
