The Richmond Tennis Association is pleased to announce its 16th Anthem Challenge event. This year's Challenge will be held from September 26-28, with 12 teams competing at The Westwood Club for the 2008 Championship. Each team will have players in the USTA rated levels from 3.0 to 5.0. Competition is doubles only with two mens, two womens, and one mixed doubles teams at each level, except 5.0 which has one mens and one mixed doubles team.

The scoring system will be the same as in the past. For each individual match, the winning team will receive two points, the losing team will receive one point, a default will result in no points. The tournament winner will be the club that accumulates the most points over the three days of play.

5:30 to 8:30 p.m.
The party, which is for all Anthem Challenge players, their guests and members of their clubs, will include a cook out. Please give your club coordinator $28 for each party-goer (players attend free).
