Junior Suburban Tennis League

3/10/07:  The RJSTL Spring 2007 season is set to begin on Monday March 26 for the Bantams and Tuesday March 27 for Intermediates.

Beth Parrish is taking over the league coordinator role from Liz Herlich, who filled the position the last six years.  During her tenure, Liz was in charge of taking the league from a paper and phone system to an online system for scheduling and scoring.  "While much improved, it still is heavily reliant on parent volunteers to stay up with it," said Liz.

The RJSTL has strived to keep the league affordable and low key.  "Our goal is to get the kids out playing tennis," Liz said.  Divided into two divisions, Bantams for 12 & under and Intermediates for those who have not yet reached their 16th birthday, it is a perfect opportunity for players to learn to play competitively.  Matches are pro-set singles matches, although there is an attempt to add doubles play.  In order to field a team, there must be at least five players (boys and girls).  For more information, please email Beth Parris.
