ACAC
REVIVES ITS INDOOR FACILITY 9/18/06
ACAC
recently refurbished its indoor tennis facility and members are
more than happy with the results. "We
are absolutely pleased with ACAC - they've been wonderful in
what they've done so far," said member Barbara Klein.
ACAC took over the ownership of the Midlothian club from
Riverside Health System last year. "When
I walked in the first day, it was fresh and cheerful and
inviting," said Pat, who has worked the tennis front desk
for about eight months. "It is a major transformation. Our
members just love the change." Updating
included redoing the Premier Courts in bright blue and green, improvements to
lighting fixtures and new air conditioning. "Before the A/C was
added, I hesitated sending my daughter to indoor clinics, it was so hot
inside," said Candace Moose. "Now, I can't keep her away.
We love it here now!"

Pro Charlie Palmer uses 'transition
balls' to train beginners. The low compression balls restrict
the height of the bounce, thus giving better control for the developing
player. |
